Block bonding

Last Wednesday, L2 had a block inuman party at Erwin's condo (thank you Erwin!). It was a sort of baptism for me since it was my first time to drink. I drank 4 shots, 2 of gin and 2 of vodka. Alcohol doesn't taste nice at all; in fact it's icky and burns your throat, but the tipsy feeling you get is fun.

L2, mahal kita! (Sir Ron was there too, and he got the honor of drinking the first shot.)

Though I was a little freaked out by all the sex talk happening during the truth-or-shot game, it was hilarious and fun anyway. The block got to bond as a whole, not just among peers or cliques. And though people were puking spaghetti all over the place (lesson learned: never eat spaghetti before drinking!), I could just feel the love and carefree-ness. I can't really describe it here in mere words; but L2, you know what I'm talking about! :)

My first shot ever: Gilbey's vodka. Nic was handing me the chaser. Vodka tasted like Green Cross alcohol, blech.

Being one of the less tipsy people in the party (after all, as BJ said, I didn't really drink), I ended up taking care of the ones who were drunk. Mia, Tans, it's OKAY. :) How can I not feel concerned for my friends? I love you guys. :)

R37, my lit block, bonded too because of our play. We practiced like hell in extremely hot venues for three weeks. We put a lot of effort and creativity in it and it really paid off because we got (according to Maam Prixie) "a very high A!" Thanks to our director BJ; because of all the crazy things he made us do - like the ho-ha-hes, the push-ups, the dances, the perky uh-huhs - the play became a blast. I was really amazed at how the block gave its all-out effort when we finally presented the play. During english and lit classes we usually are very quiet, sleepy, and just downright lethargic, but when the play showed all our inner wackiness came to the surface. Thanks for a great year guys! I'll miss you. Just call me (wahahaha)!

Anyway, I'm happy to end this year with a bang! Happy Three-week Summer Vacation!

Second Year, here I come!
